The Principal Teachings of Buddhism – Je Tsongkapa

The Transmission of the “Three Principal Paths”

Je Tsongkapa wrote the root text as a letter to Ngawang Drakpa, who was also known as Tsako Wongpo. Pabongka Rinpoche (also know as Dechen Nyingpo) taught the commentary, which was later printed by Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche, who taught it to Khen Rinpoche, Geshe Lobsang Tharchin, who translated it, with Geshe Michael Roach.
